Downtown DC Engagement: Jessica+Ken

It’s not very often you encounter what “genuine” truly means. When you can talk to it, hang out with it, photograph it. In Washington, genuine flies right out the window on 495, gets caught in mountains of paperwork in a cramped, outdated office, or pushed aside by the convoluted political jargon that clogs the air in this city. I can say with confidence, that Ken and Jessica are two of the warmest, most kind, GENUINE people I’ve ever met. From the first time I met them, I knew I was really meeting THEM, not a cover or a guise. Shooting their engagement session (Part 1 at least, common snooooww!!) was a blast even though we were all freezing wandering through downtown DC. Despite the cold, they stuck through it and I loved every minute of it. To say I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in August would be the understatement of the century, cuz seriously I CANNOT WAIT! Congrats you two!
