Jefferson Memorial Wedding: Elese+Corey

A couple weeks ago I received an email from Elese. She and her husband Corey were getting ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary and wanted a photographer to cover their vow renewal ceremony at the Tidal Basin. There was NO DOUBT in my mind that I wanted to be there. There weren’t any guests, just her, her husband, and a minister (Terry who was awesome by the way). That’s pretty much a photographers dream! Not that guests aren’t awesome, they are very entertaining and provide for some of the best and most emotion packed photography you can get, but there’s something so sweet, so personal and intimate, about it being just the two of them, and I jumped at the chance. Plus, I got an hour and a half of portraits with them where you usually get 30 minutes on a wedding day, so yea, it was awesome.

We met bright and early next to the Jefferson Memorial and it really couldn’t have been a more beautiful day. There was a perfect little breeze that would float through every couple minutes and the sky was spotless of clouds. I’m so so happy I had the chance to meet this amazing couple. We had a great time and got some beautiful images. Congrats on 10 years Elese and Corey!!
